  2. Click the gear icon  and select Payments, then visit your Payment settings.

Where can I cash my check?

Because policies vary between banks, we're not able to determine if a specific bank is able to accept your AdSense checks. All check payments are issued by Citibank. If you receive checks in U.S. dollars, please inquire at your bank regarding whether they have a correspondent relationship with Citibank. This relationship is required in order to process our U.S. dollar checks. Please note that Google AdSense checks are for deposit only, and are not able to be cashed.
Additionally, please be aware that different banks often take different amounts of time to clear any check. We suggest contacting your bank directly for more information.

Delivery options

All checks are sent via standard delivery. Publishers usually receive their checks about 2-4 weeks after the mailing date. However, it may take longer depending on the postal service in your location.
Standard delivery payments sent to the countries listed below will be mailed by a local courier service. There will be no charge for mailing payments in this manner and we anticipate that the payments will arrive within 10-30 days of the check date.
  • Argentina
  • Bolivia
  • Chile
  • Colombia
  • Ecuador
  • Mexico
  • Paraguay
  • Uruguay
  • Venezuela
AdSense publishers in select countries in Latin America (listed above) will have standard delivery payments delivered via the local courier service Ocasa for no additional charge. Tracking numbers are not available for Ocasa check payments.
Publishers in China will have standard delivery payments mailed by Hong Kong post.

Deadline to cash check

If you haven’t received your check after 60 days, you can reissue a new check directly from your AdSense account. Visit your Payment history page to see the original payment date and current status. If the check still hasn’t been cashed after 60 days, you’ll see a 'Re-issue payment' link appear next to your check’s status in your Transaction history. Click Re-issue payment and shortly after a new line item will appear showing that the check has been stopped and your refund is in progress.
You can only reissue a check from your account if more than 60 days has passed since it was issued.
If you do not deposit your check within 12 months after it was issued, your earnings will be credited back to your account and your payments will be put on hold.
Once your payments are put on hold for an expired check, visit your Payments settings page and update your check delivery address. Whether or not you update your delivery address, you still need to click the 're-enable' button on the check form of payment widget (or select a new form of payment). After you edit and/or re-enable your form of payment, your payment hold will be removed.

Receiving payments by EFT

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) directly deposits your AdSense earnings into your bank account, in your local currency, to greatly speed up and simplify the payment process. If EFT is available in your location, we encourage you to sign up. EFT is fast, secure, and environmentally friendly, and it's the Google-recommended payment method. We're working hard to make it available in as many locations as we can.
To sign up for payments by EFT, you need to provide details about your bank account and verify your account using a small test deposit.

Is EFT available in my country?

Signing up for EFT payments

Signing up for EFT payments is a three-step process:

Why did my test deposit fail?

There are a number of reasons why your test deposit might fail. We have provided a detailed list below.
  • Incorrect bank account number or bank codes (the required information will vary by country)
  • Bank account is closed
  • Bank is not located in the same country entered in your AdSense account
  • Bank account is not in the local currency of the country entered in your AdSense account
  • Bank account is not set up to receive incoming ACH/EFT
  • Your bank code changed as the result of a recent bank merger
If your test deposit has failed, you'll see a Deposit failed message on the page where you submitted your bank account. If you see this message, we encourage you to re-enter your bank information to make sure there wasn't a typo. You may also wish to contact your bank to confirm the exact details that you need to submit and try again.

Editing bank information

Unfortunately, incorrect or unverified bank account information can't be edited in your account at this time. Instead, to provide corrected information, you must first add a new bank account and then remove the existing one.
To protect the privacy and security of your banking information, AdSense Support does not have access to edit or remove the information you have entered.

Receiving SEPA payments

Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) transactions provide an affordable, efficient Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) option across a number of countries in Europe. The SEPA system allows European businesses and consumers to send EFT payments to any country located in the Euro area. SEPA EFT payments directly deposit your AdSense earnings, in Euros, into your bank account to greatly speed up and simplify the payment process. If SEPA EFT payments are available in your location, we encourage you to sign up. EFT is fast, secure, and environmentally friendly, and it's the Google-recommended payment method. We're working hard to make it available in as many locations as we can.
To sign up for SEPA EFT payments, you need to provide details about your bank account. If your account is located in a country where the local currency is the Euro, you will need to verify your account using a small test deposit. If your account is located in a country with a local currency other than the Euro, you will not need to go through the test deposit process.
Please note that while SEPA coverage is expanding, not all banks currently support SEPA EFT transactions. Before signing up for this form of payment, we strongly encourage you to verify with your bank that you are able to receive incoming SEPA EFT transactions.

Receiving payments by wire transfer

A wire transfer is a method of electronic funds transfer. It allows you to receive funds directly into your bank account. Google sends your earnings in U.S. dollars or Euros, depending on your account currency, via international wire transfer to the bank of your choice and you get the money in the bank account you specify. This is a fast, simple, and secure method for receiving your payments.

How you'll be paid through wire transfer

Your revenue will be paid out once a month through a wire transfer to your bank account. To receive your payments, you’ll need to provide your bank account information in your AdSense account. The information varies per country and can be found on the Intro to AdSense payments page. If you have any questions, contact your bank and ask for instructions for receiving a wire transfer from abroad.

Entering your bank account information

  1. Sign in to your AdSense account.

Receiving payments by Western Union Quick Cash

Western Union Quick Cash is a form of payment that allows you to receive your AdSense payments in cash using the worldwide Western Union (WU) money transfer service. Choosing to receive your payments by WU means that you don't have to wait for a check to arrive in the mail, and it can also cut down on the bank fees and long clearing times associated with depositing checks.
Notes:

In this article:

Countries where WU is available

Payment by Western Union Quick Cash is currently available in the following countries and areas:
We might offer WU to other countries in the future, but we don't have a date for this at present.

Deadline for picking up WU payments

You must pick up your WU payment within 60 days in the same country to which your payment was issued. (Payments will be available for pickup at your local WU agent the day after they're issued.) If you don't pick up your payment within 60 days, your earnings will be credited back to your account and your payments will be put on hold.
If your payment is held: visit the "Payments" page in your AdSense account, read the red alert on the page and follow the instructions provided to re-enable payments to your account.

How to sign up for payments by WU

To receive your payments via Western Union Quick Cash, complete these steps:
  1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
  2. Click the gear icon  and select Payments.

  5. Select the Western Union radio button.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Verify that the delivery name is correct.
  8. Click Save changes.
Note the delivery name must exactly match the name on the government-issued ID card that you intend to use to pick up your WU payment. If you're setting up WU payments for an organizational account, provide the name of an individual who will represent the company when picking up payments. If you make a mistake, follow these instructions to update the delivery name or address in your account.

How to pick up your WU payment

To pick up your WU payment, follow these steps:
  1. Visit http://www.payment-solutions.com/agent.asp to find a WU agent located in the country where your payments are sent.

    • Your sender's information (which you'll find on your AdSense Payment Receipt).
To view your Payment Receipt: visit your "Payment history" page and click the automatic payment link. Examples of sender's information include:

Notes:
  • In some countries you might be required to answer a test question to pick up your WU payment. This is an additional step to ensure that your payment is transferred securely.
  • Remember to pick up your WU payment within 60 days of the payment date, or the amount will be credited back to your AdSense account.

Currency, exchange rate, and payment limit for WU payments

Your WU payment will be made in either U.S. dollars or Euros, depending on the currency shown on your "Payment history" page. However, at most WU agent locations you'll have the option to receive your payment either in the currency it was issued or in your local currency (provided the agent has this currency available). We recommend that you call your local WU agent to confirm which currencies are available. The exchange rate will vary based on the rate used by the WU agent on the day you pick up your payment.
Depending on your country, there may be a maximum limit on the amount you can receive in a single payment via WU. If your payment exceeds the limit, then it will be split into multiple payments. For more information on WU payment limits, contact your WU agent
